Web 2.0 Tool of the Month: SURVEYGIZMO

The one and only purpose of assessments is the improvement of student learning.
-Douglass B. Reeves, Ph.D.

As we dive further into 21st century school reform, student involvement in the learning process has become a central theme. Using online, Web 2.0 applications, educators can develop opportunities for learners to actively demonstrate their knowledge and understanding. Online surveys and polls are just one example of how educators are now able to orchestrate a variety of assessments that provide authentic data about student interest, need and progress.
